Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name Unknown. This is one of the early celluloid models.
Manufacturer and Year Wahl, made in Chicago, U.S.A. -- 1920s.
Length 4-3/8 inches not counting ringtop hardware.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Jade green marbled celluloid with black ends, two thin cap bands, and a thin band between each black end and the green color.
Nib Medium manifold Eversharp 14k nib.
Condition Very nice condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a small, shiny pen in a classic design. The color has darkened on part of the cap and most of the barrel, so the main flaw is this discoloration. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and heavy scratching (including bite marks) near the end. The lever has some scratches and a patch of plating wear. The cap has light to moderate scratching. The cap bands have quite a bit of microscratching. The ringtop hardware has moderate scratching on the top piece; the ring looks good. The imprint is readable.
