Product Name The nib is marked Wahl #2.
Manufacturer and Year Wahl Eversharp, USA -- 1920s
Length 3-5/8" not counting ring hardware. The pencil is a little longer by 1/4 inch.
Filling System Lever filler, with a new sac.
Color Gold filled pen with the zigzag pattern as identified in some old catalogs. Smooth gold filled trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE 14k nib, we consider it almost full flex with excellent hairlines. The tines spread very easily for strong line variation. It flexes easily from extra-fine to broad. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent + condition. There's some plating wear on the end of the barrel and a few marks of wear on the nib collar. The lever looks unusually good for a vintage pen. No dents, scratches, or cracks. The imprints are quite clear. The original box is silk and velvet lined and is in very good condition. Has been personalized, "EVE."
