Color Gold overlay with black smooth hard rubber end piece. The barrel and cap are covered with gold filled plating in a checkerboard called "Gothic" by Waterman.
Nib Reversible nib writes extra fine (no flex) upside down, and Full flex extra fine with the normal orientation. "Yellow" 14k Ideal nib, a weird version we've never seen with a wide cut out near the tip. The nib flexes easily and is very smooth. Please see writing sample
Condition Superior condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is an elegant and beautiful pen. The checkerboard pattern is crisp. The cap has some light scratching, especially around the clip. The barrel has microscratching. The black area below the section has capping lines and some light scratches. There is plating wear around the upper edge of the cap, but no brassing. There is a blank area for personalization on the barrel. All imprints are clear.
