Nib FULL FLEX EXTRA FINE. Brilliant hairlines to a double broad, which we consider to be full flex. The nib is marked Waterman's Ideal New York 2. Please don't go by what we call it, rely on the writing sample (shown below), because every one uses a different scale of reference for flex.
Please note that we saw some flaking of the gold near the "W" in New York, so we pulled the nib to make sure it was not a crack. No crack, just a superficial breakdown of the gold layers' adherence to one another. Please look at the photos, and you'll see that the flaking is on the surface of the nib only and does not extend thru to the backside of the nib.
Condition Excellent condition. It's a little lightened in color from exposure to sunlight. No cracks or chips. The clip is a little worn and the chased pattern on the barrel has been a bit worn down by handwear, but the the imprints are excellent on the trim and the barrel. It's a nice looking pen and it's working amazingly well.
