Condition Superior condition in box. The fountain pen has light sun fading, visible by the darker coloring near the front where the cap overlaps the barrel. There is only minimal scratching. The lever bar has a touch of plating wear on the edge of the tab and a bit on the lever housing at the hinge end. The cap band has no brassing or plating wear. The pencil looks fantastic, with minimal fading. The nose nose cone has some tiny touches of brassing. The trim rings look great. On both pieces, the ringtop hardware is secure. The "Treasure Chest of Today" box has some light wear, with a bit of paper peeling on the bottom, but overall looks fantastic for its age. The imprints are clear. No cracks or chips, dings, dents, or personalization. The pen has been fully restored and it's working very well.
