Product Description
Type Vintage pen which works beautifully
Product Name Model 52 (marked on the end of the pen barrel)
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, CANADA - circa 1920s
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System Lever filler. We installed a new sac and it works very well.
Color Red and black woodgrain hard rubber with gold plated trim ... the section looks more like the red ripple pattern than the woodgrain.
Nib FINE Manifold nib is marked "Manifold Waterman's IDEAL Canada" . It's got nice tipping and is smooth.
Condition Excellent condition. There's some brassing on the clip, and on the cap band. The lever also has a touch of brassing. The barrel imprint, as well as the model number marked on the end, is fairly crisp and clear. There are light horizontal marks on the barrel from screwing on the cap, but overall the look of the pen is quite smooth and shiny. No cracks, chips, or tooth marks. The color is excellent. It's a beautiful piece, fully restored and working very well.
