Waterman Gentleman fountain pen from the 1970s-80s. Cartridge/converter pen in a rich blue lacquer finish with gold plated trim. Fine 18k Waterman Ideal Paris nib. Excellent + condition, working perfectly, in box.

Type  High-end modern cartridge/converter filling fountain pen.

Product Name  Gentleman.

Manufacturer and Year  Waterman, France -- they introduced this model around 1974 and it ran at least until the mid '80s.

Length  5-9/16". 

Filling System  Takes Waterman or international style refills, or converters. A Waterman converter is included.

Color  Rich blue lacquer finish over brass with gold plated trim. It's a solid dark blue that is hard to match with a particular shade. Different lighting creates the appearance of a different blue.

Nib  FINE two tone 18k nib is smooth with lovely tipping material. It has just a touch of springiness. The feed is marked F.

Condition  Excellent + condition. No cracks, chips, dings, dents, or personalization. All of the plating looks really good, no plating or corrosion. There is light handwear on the lacquer finish. It's working perfectly. In Waterman box.

Domestic US Shipping Policy: For the most part, shipping to US addresses is free and is made via first class mail.

International Shipping PolicyInternational shipping is based on weight, and we give you a choice (depending on country) of first class, first class registered, priority mail or express delivery (only Express Mail provides true tracking). Internatonal shipments valued at over $40 come with free insurance, unless that service is not available for your specific country. Most of our customers opt for the very reasonably priced first class mail method, which can take anywhere from one to four weeks. We are happy to discuss alternatives to the options currently offered during the checkout process, so please contact us if you'd like a quote.

Most countries charge customs fees on shipments from the United States, but this is not something we can estimate and there is no way to pay these fees in advance. It is the responsibility of the customer to anticipate these costs and pay them when they are assessed by your country or postal system.
