Nib FINE two-tone nib. Some pitting at the base of the nib, a very common problem with the Phileas pens, though it does not affect functioning.
Condition Excellent condition, in box, with one ink cartridge and original bill of sale and with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a beautifully colored, shiny pen that looks great. The cap, barrel, and section have moderate scratching. The barrel has some long, thin scratches. The black end piece of the barrel has a dull scratch area that goes around the circumference near the end of the barrel -- this could be from posting. The cap has a similar dull area just under the band that is beneath the black top piece. All the gold trim and cap band have light to moderate microscratching. The imprints are clear.
