Type Cartridge/converter filling fountain pen.
Product Name Phileas.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, France -- Late 1990s or early 2000s.
Length 5-3/8".
Filling System Takes international style refills or cartridges. Due to the wider end of the cartridges, it looks like most brands don't fit. An unused long Waterman cartridge will be included. A Waterman converter is installed.
Color Green Marble. It's a nice stone-like green and black with some lighter veins. The green is dark, but it's not quite as dark as it looks in the photos. It has black accent pieces, including the section, and gold colored trim.
Nib FINE two tone Waterman Paris steel nib marked F. It's smooth and firm.
The bottom of the nib above the collar has pitting marks, a very common issue with Waterman steel nibs from this era.
Condition Excellent condition. There's handwear and scratching all over. No cracks or chips, dents, dings, or personalization. The nib looks great, and does not have pitting marks near the collar, which is a very common issue with Waterman steel nibs from this era. The trim looks good, no brassing or issues with the plating. The color is lovely, and the pen is working perfectly.
