Filling System Lever filler - excellent working restored condition. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase. The mechanical pencil takes 1.1 mm leads. We will include a packet of leads.
Color Grey in a marbled pattern that is striped. The trim is gold plated. There are single thin cap bands.
Nib Fine 14k nib is marked "Watermans IDEAL" and is flexible. Line variation fine to medium-broad If you are looking for flex that is easy to write with on an every day basis, these 1940s Watermans can't be beat in terms of flex-per-dollar. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition for this beautifully, subtly colored and shiny pen and pencil set. The fountain pen barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and from posting. It has light to some moderate scratching near the end where there are some small bite marks. The lever has plating wear and a bit of pitting along edges. The cap has a few clusters of long thin scratches and a few tiny bite marks near the top. The cap band has moderate microscratching. The clip and clip top have some brassing plating wear and moderate microscratching. The mechanical pencil is personalized on the barrel portion, "D. Amaru". It has moderate microscratching and light scratch marks all over. The cone has plating wear and heavy microscratching. The cap band has moderate microscratching. The clip and clip top have some brassing and light scratching. The imprints on both pieces are clear.
