Filling System Lever filler - excellent working condition, restored with a new sac.
Color Black with chrome plated trim. There is a single thin cap band.
Nib 14k nib is marked "Watermans IDEAL 14-KT Canada" and is fine and nicely flexible. If you are looking for flex that is easy to write with on an every day basis, these 1940s Watermans can't be beat in terms of flex-per-dollar. Flexes up to broad (see writing sample below).
Condition Excellent + condition. The barrel and cap have microscratching, but no deep scratches. The clip has some microscratching, but no brassing or plating wear. The cap band has brassing along the upper and lower edges. The section has some visible glue residue. The barrel has small marks and microscratching, but no large individual scratches, or cracks or chips. The imprint is clear. The pen is working very well.
