Product Description
Type Lever fill fountain pen
Product Name Stalwart is the name you see on the larger size of this pen in late 1940s ads, and this smaller size they called the "Starlet."
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA, late 1940s
Length 4-9/16"
Filling System Lever filler - we've fully restored it and it's working well.
Color Blue, with gold plated trim and single thin cap band.
Nib EXTRA-FINE - nib is marked "Watermans IDEAL 14KT." Just a touch of flex to it, no real line variation.
Condition Very nice condition with some scratching and a few bite marks on the cap and barrel. There is a small chunk missing from the lower end of the barrel, though everything is polished smoothly so it's possible to miss it. The plating has a little brassing on the gold plated jewel piece on the top of the cap, and a little on the cap band, but the plating on the clip and lever is in great condition. It looks very good, and writes well.
