Product Name This is the small "Starlet" version of the Stalwart pen.
Manufacturer and Year Waterman, made in USA -- circa late 1940s.
Length Starlet size, 4-11/16"
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Ivory marbled. Gold plated trim with a single thin cap band. The color is slightly yellowed but the surface sheen is excellent and there is pearlescence. Black section.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE Waterman's Ideal 14k nib. Not dramatic line variation, just from fine to medium.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a small, pretty pen with great shine and pearlescent coloring. There is consistent yellowing and that cap has some darkened areas. The cap and barrel have moderate scratching and the barrel has marks caused by the cap lip. The lever looks good with just some small marks and scratches. The thin cap band has a line of pitting on the lower edge and some darkened microscratch lines all around. The clip has plating wear along the lower edge and on the top piece. The imprints are clear.
