Product Description
Type Multipen
Product Name Model 4FP ("4 Function Pen")
Manufacturer and Year ACME Studios -- circa 1990-2000s
Length 5-11/16"
Filling System The pencil part takes 0.7mm leads and the pen takes D1 ballpoint refills. The central band has labels indicating the different types of refills - black, red/highlighter, pencil, and PDA stylus (which doesn't work with modern smartphone screens). The knock at the end of the barrel extends the desired tip, and there's a black slider piece on the clip that releases and retracts whatever tip is extended. Rotate the pen so that the desired tip, as indicated by the icons on the central band, is facing upward. Pressing the end button should extend the correct selection.
Color Two design/color options are available.
Condition Excellent condition. See below for more details on specific pens.
Daytona: The middle of the barrel is yellow, with either end in silver paint. Chrome hardware. There is light handwear and scratching. The central band has light plating wear, and the paint for the central red icon is chipped on one side. Otherwise, the pen is in good shape and is working well.
Stirred: Originally released 2006. Mostly blue, with the tip end featuring what looks like dripping yellow paint. Chrome colored hardware. There is light handwear and scratching. The yellow portion near the tip has moderate scratches. The paint for the red icon is chipped on two sides, but is still easily identified.
