Filling System Takes Schmidt rollerball refills, which are standard international configuration. A working refill is installed. (The Montblanc Fineliner refills also fit, which is what is shown in the picture below. However, that was dried out and we replaced it with a new rollerball refill)
Color Black background on the cap and barrel, with patterning in red, yellow, and grey. The design is based on the pattern used in the informal dining room of the Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan, which was commissioned in 1916. Wright's signature is engraved on the cap band.
Condition Excellent + condition. There is light handwear and scratching on the cap and barrel. No significant scratches or disruptions in the patterning. The trim all looks fantastic, with no brassing or plating wear. The imprints are clear.
