Condition Excellent condition. There is light handwear and scratching all over. The cap has some moderate scratching on either side of the clip, and shallow tooth marks near the top. There are small spots of brassing on the clip, especially the ball end, and also on the cap bands. There are some small scratches on the section. The barrel has light scratching in the middle, and more moderate scratching and some tooth marks towards the end. The lever bar has plating wear on the sides. No cracks, chips, or personalization. The imprint is slightly worn, but still easily readable. It's quite an eye catching pen, fully restored and working well.
There is a curious mark on the cap, about 1/2" long, to the right of the clip and near the cap lip. (It's just visible in the first picture - it's shaped like a really long skinny "U", rounded at the bottom and with an open top.) It doesn't penetrate through the material so it's not a crack. In fact, when we hold the cap up to light and look at the area from the inside, the mark disappears, so it's definitely confined to the outer surface.
