Filling System "Magic Reserve" piston filling system. Press and twist the jewel at the end of the barrel to release the piston knob, then move the piston back and forth in the barrel as you normally would to fill a pen with a piston filler or a piston converter. The piston seal features a small receptacle that holds a drop of ink, that's the "Magic Reserve". When the main reservoir is used up, you screw the piston down until it is in the fully down position and touches the feed, allowing just enough ink to finish your thoughts. It has been tested and it's working well.
Color Black resin with gold plated cap. The cap has a black design on the clip and a black inset piece in the top of the cap. The rest of the cap has a lined pattern.
Nib 14k Extra-Fine nib. The bottom of the section is marked M for medium, but it definitely looks more like a fine. It's smooth and relatively firm.
Condition Excellent condition. Cap and body both have microscratching. No brassing on the cap. The black detailing on the clip is worn and flaked off in some spots. No dents on the cap, and no serious scratches on the body. The section imprints are clear.
