Filling System Piston filler. No indications that the pen was ever inked.
Color Sterling silver cap and barrel with guilloche pattern. Gold-plated trim. The gold has a guilloche pattern. The section is black and there is a clear ink viewing window. 1/4" wide cap band with the "commedia dell'arte" masks along with the dates of the playwright's life.
Nib MEDIUM 18k nib. Our inspection showed signs that the nib was dipped in ink.
Condition Near Mint condition, in box with paperwork. The pen was dipped, but we found no indications that the pen was inked. This is a gorgeous, elegant pen with a glittery effect from the engraved surface on the cap and barrel. There are tiny hints of tarnish on some of the silver. No cracks, chips, dents, dings, or scratches. All imprints are clear. Ships in elaborate wooden box that represents a theater with curtains, and paperwork.
