Filling System Takes Parker-style refills, the standard ones which are also used in the smaller 849. Comes with the original Caran D'Ache refill. The tip extends and retracts via the clicker at the end of the barrel. To install a new refill, unscrew the clicker button.
Color Matte Black, with shiny nickel plated clip and button. The barrel is aluminum and has hexagonal facets.
Condition Excellent + condition, in metal "slimpack" box. No cracks, chips, dents or dings. This is a matte black pen in the classic Caran D'Ache 849 ballpoint form, but somewhat larger and takes a rollerball refill. The barrel looks great with just a few shiny spots. The clip looks fantastic. The push button has slight microscratching from usage. The imprints are clear. The box has a slight dent along the open edge, but still functions nicely.
