Product Description
Type Modern Fountain Pen
Product Name Unknown, but it looks very similar to the current Cassiopea
Manufacturer and Year Cesare Emiliano, Italy -- 2000s is our guess based off of its similarity to current models we believe it to be recent but it is not current manufacture.
Length 5-1/4"
Filling System This takes international cartridges and converters. A piston converter is installed.
Color Black cap and section with a cracked ice orange barrel. The Cesare Emiliano catalog calls this orange, "Mosaic Pearl Amber." It has silver colored trim that looks like sterling. It could be sterling as Italy did not formally adopt a sterling hallmarking process until 2015. The pen has a wide cap band with flowers etch on it.
Nib Medium steel nib. It is a smooth writer. The nib is ornately detailed.
Condition Excellent condition. The pen looks like new, but there are a few imperfections in the plastic which may have occurred during the manufacturing process. No cracks, dents, or major scratches. Just a few marks on the barrel near the section and on the trim. It works well.
