Product Description
Type Modern Fountain Pen
Product Name Tempio S17 (this should be close to the proper model name, though the S17 we see has a greek key and black end pieces). This is an obscure brand, but there's a very informative post on FPN about the maker.
Manufacturer and Year Cesare Emiliano, Italy -- Possibly mid-1990s
Length 5-3/8"
Filling System This takes international cartridges and converters. A piston converter is installed and there is a box of ink cartridges in the box. The converter has been tested and is working well. Guaranteed for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Sterling silver cap and barrel with burgundy marble barrel end piece, section, and cap and barrel jewels. Sterling hallmarks on cap and barrel (see photos). The cap and barrel are octagonal, with alternating panels of climbing ivy next to squiggly lines.
Nib FINE two-tone steel nib.
Condition Excellent + condition, in mustard yellow velveteen box, with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. We believe this pen has never been inked. This is a heavy, uniquely crafted pen, that looks beautiful and elegant. The ivy and squiggly line patterning is all nicely intact. There is mocro-scratching throughout the sterling. The burgundy marbled areas have a few microscratches but they are lovely as are the jewels. The clip has some microscratching as does the clip band. The clip band also has some tarnishing along the edges, especially over the clip mount. The original sterling silver certification card is in the box. The imprints are clear.
