Product Description
Type Lever filling vintage fountain pen in superior working condition, with a nicely flexible nib.
Product Name Crescent Model 25
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Toledo Ohio, 1920s
Length 5-3/16"
Filling System Crescent filler, restored here at PSP with a new sac.
Color Black chased hard rubber with gold plated trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE FINE. We consider this nib almost full flex, though not a wet noodle. See our writing sample in the photos. There is some light scratching on the face of the nib, which does not affect the writing performance.
Condition Excellent + condition. The color of the barrel and cap is slightly faded. The main barrel imprint and the chasing pattern are somewhat faded, but still visible and the imprint is mostly readable. The end of barrel imprint is much stronger. The crescent has some slight brassing around the top edge. The section looks great, no tool marks or major scratches. The cap looks good, with visible chasing all over, and no major scratches. The clip looks good, with just some small touches of brassing. No cracks or chips.
