Type Lever filling vintage fountain pen, fully restored.
Product Name Endura (the imprint is clear on the barrel).
Manufacturer and Year Conklin, Toledo Ohio -- 1920s.
Length 5-3/16", this is the senior size.
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working very well.
Color Black and Pearl is a cracked ice type pattern mix of off-white (sometimes brown) and black. The "pearl" ambers over time and the barrel is much more ambered than the cap.
Nib FINE gold nib marked "Conklin Endura." It's firm and smooth.
Condition Very nice condition. The clip and cap band both have a lot of brassing. The clip has some slight buckling, as if it's been bent. There is light to moderate scratching on the cap, with some scratches near the cap lip. There is some crackling near the top, and some of the surface cracks have picked up some ink staining, making them look more prominent in the photos. The barrel has mostly light to moderate scratching. The barrel imprint is clear; there are some heavier scratches near the imprint, one of which is about 3/4" and just below the last line of the imprint. The pearl is heavily ambered on the barrel. The section looks great. The lever bar has some small spots of plating wear. The pen has been fully restored and is working well.
