Color Foliage Pearl - marbled green celluloid with a dark amber semi-transparent window for the "Word Gauge" system. The barrel is like a graduated cylinder where the tick marks show how many words can be written before the pen runs out of ink. It has gold filled trim and a 1/8" wide cap band decorated with chevrons and lines.
Nib EXTRA-FINE semi-flexible 14k Conklin nib. It has a crescent breather hole. Line variation from extra fine to medium. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a shiny pen in lovely shades of green with some pearlescence and with black veins that squiggle around the green marbling. The barrel has a 1-1/4" viewing window that shows the ink level, and tick marks indicating the approximate number of words that can written with the remaining ink. The barrel has moderate scratching both on the gauge and on the patterned portion. The piston knob has a melted splotch, where one of the securing pins in located, and we've included a detailed shot of this area in the photos. The cap has heavier scratching. The cap band is a bit loose, but looks good, with minimal brassing and no plating wear. The clip has light scratching and a spot of plating wear at the top. The imprints are clear.
