Filling System Lever filler. We replaced the bladder and it is working well. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase. Be aware that the lever has a sort of locking feature and requires a little bit more force than you might expect to open it and push it back flush with the barrel.
Color "Green Herringbone" - light and dark green stiped, with black zigzags that make a really attractive pattern. Gold plated trim. Black pointed cap jewel. 1/4" gold plated cap band.
Nib 14k Medium #5 nib. Firm, no flex.
Condition Excellent condition. This is a nice-sized, shiny pen in a really great color pattern. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and posting, as well as moderate scratching. The lever has plating wear and some corrosion on the sides. The cap has moderate to heavy scratching. The cap band has microscratching but it is shiny and very golden with minimal brassing. The clip has a few tiny blotches of plating wear and light scratching. The clip band is brassed and has dots of pitting. The cap jewel looks great, and has all of its original black paint. The imprints are clear.
The barrel has two lines of personalization: "- A. A. Otago -" and "- 20000 - 1958 -".
