Product Description
Type Lever fill fountain pen
Product Name Model 388
Manufacturer and Year Conway Stewart, Made in England, 1950s
Length 5"
Filling System Lever filler. We restored it with a new sac and it's working perfectly.
Color Green and black marble, gold plated trim, with black end caps.
Nib MEDIUM Conway Stewart 14k nib with good tipping material. There appears to be a tiny, perfectly round hole on the top of the nib, right below the tipping material (see photos), but it is not deep and doesn't affect the writing experience. It's probably a llittle pitting, but it is suspiciously round,
Condition Excellent condition with hardly any scratching. Just normal hand wear and some plating wear on the edges of the lever and on the clip. The top end piece is a little discolored. It's beautiful, and working very well.
The barrel is imprinted with the words "To Steve, From Olive." (see photos)
