Filling System Lever filler. We replaced the sac and tested it, and it's working very well. Guaranteed for one year from date of purchase.
Color Marbled green with gold plated trim. Three-ring cap band (two thin bands and a thicker center band) and diamond clip. Black peaked top piece and flat black end piece.
Nib FINE 14k gold nib. There's a bit of "give" to it, but no real flex or line variation. There's a surface ding on the nib (visible in the nib close-up shot, in the W in "Conway"), but it doesn't affect the pen's writing performance.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a smaller sized pen in a classic design and color pattern. The barrel has marks caused by the cap lip and light scratching. Near the end of the barrel, there's an area where the seam between the celluloid strips has started to separate, but it's still in place and seems to be held there by the black end piece. There are some extra scratches and shallow bite marks near the end of the barrel as well. The lever has dots of plating wear. The cap has light scratching. The triple cap bands look nice with some microscratching and a couple of small areas of brassing. The clip and clip ring have brassing and plating wear. The black top piece is faded, and there are some little chips in the edge where it joins to the cap. The imprint is clear.
