Type Lever fill fountain pen
Product Name The Conway Pen, Model 759
Manufacturer and Year Conway Stewart, Made in England, 1950s

Filling System Lever filler. We restored it with a new sac and it's working perfectly.
Color Marbled Plum, lovely shades of burgundy with black veins throughout. Gold plated trim and a black top piece. Possibly made of casein, so don't soak it in water.
Nib SEMI-FLEX medium Conway Stewart 14k nib with good tipping material. It flexes with a little pressure from medium to double broad. See our writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. There is light handwear and scratching on the cap and barrel. There are splotches of brassing on the clip, and plating wear along the sides and on the clip ring. The cap band looks good. The barrel has some marks at both ends, from capping and posting. The lever has plating wear along the sides and some dots of pitting. It's really a beautiful looking pen, restored and working well. The imprints are clear.
