Color Pink Moire - it's kind of a warm pink-brown color with faint sparkles. Gold plated trim. The section and cap finial are black. The pink moire material is casein, which should not be subjected to prolonged contact with water.
Nib BROAD SEMI-FLEX Conway Stewart 14k nib with good tipping material. It doesn't take much pressure to flex - we've included a writing sample in the photos to show the performance.
Condition Excellent condition. We've noticed some crackling texture on the front of the barrel nearest the section, suggesting that it was soaked a bit, but there's good contact with the section so the pen works well. (The black section is not casein, so it's okay for that part to get wet, but the pink parts will melt if they sit in water). The end of the barrel has some marks from posting the cap. The lever bar has plating wear along the sides. The cap and barrel have light to moderate scratching. the clip and cap band have brassing and some plating wear. One of the breather holes has some scraping around it. The cap finial looks good. The barrel imprint is slightly faded but readable.
