Product Description
Type Lever fill fountain pen
Product Name Model 93
Manufacturer and Year Conway Stewart, UK, 1950s
Length 4-7/8".
Filling System Lever filler. We replaced the sac, and it's working very well. We guarantee the filling system for a year from the date of purchase.
Color Blue Herringbone celluloid. Gold plated trim.
Nib #4 14k fine nib is semi-flexible and smooth. Excellent tipping material. There is a bit of patina on the nib shown in the pictures. We've polished up the tarnish along the nib slit, but some of the tarnish where the nib fits into the section is still there.
Condition Excellent condition. The cap and barrel have light handwear and scratching. There are some marks on the barrel from the cap lip. The lever bar has some brassing along the sides, and the top face has some light scratching but looks great. The cap bands look good. The two narrow bands are slightly loose, and are prone to shifting a bit so that they're askew (see the 4th picture for an example of this). The clip has some brassing along the sides. The cap jewel has some paint missing from the very top, but otherwise looks good. The imprints are clear.
