Product Description
Type Lever fill fountain pen
Product Name Duro, probably the first version of the Duro in the standard size (there's one size that is larger). There is no imprint visible, but this matches the description and dimensions found on the CS Book of Numbers (see the first entry for "The Duro Pen", we believe that this one is the "standard size"). This "standard size" version was advertised as "No. 2" but that just referred to the size, as there was a true Duro 2 that came later and was smalle.

Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large pen in a classic design and color scheme. The cap and barrel have light to moderate wear. It used to have a chasing pattern, but that has been largely worn down over time - you can just barely make it out near the top of the cap, and also underneath the clip. The barrel has slight marks caused by the cap lip. There is a scratch that's about 3/4" long between the lever bar and the end of the barrel which will not cause any problems with the pen's operation. The cap looks good - the knurled pattern near the top is very clearly defined. The top of the cap has some moderate scratches. The clip has brassing and some tiny dots of pitting. The cap bands are almost completely brassed. The lever bar has brassing, as well as some plating wear along the sides.
