Product Description
Type Vintage mechanical pencil.
Product Name "Duro-Point No. 18 " is imprinted on the barrel. This matches an entry on the wonderful "Book of Numbers" resource.
Manufacturer and Year Conway Stewart, England -- 1930s.
Length 5-3/16"
Filling System Takes 1.1mm leads, which extend by twisting the end piece. A packet of vintage Conway Stewart leads will be included. There is an eraser underneath the cap at the end of the barrel.
Color Marbled green and black. Brass cone, with silver colored clip and trim bands at the top. The barrel is octagonally faceted.
Condition Very nice condition. There is moderate scratching on the surface of the barrel. The end cap has some heavy scratching, and there is also a crack in it. The cap has an inner metal liner, so if you're careful the crack shouldn't spread; you definitely don't want to drop this one though. The trim bands at the top have light scratches and some brassing, as does the clip. The cone has brassing and some tiny dings. All imprints are clear.
