Manufacturer and Year Conway Stewart, England -- 1939. (British silver hallmarks include information on the city where the metal content was tested, as well as the year. In this case, it was assayed in Birmingham in 1939)

Filling System Takes 1.1mm leads, which extend by twisting the end piece. A packet of leads will be included.
Color Sterling silver with groups of a "barleycorn" pattern interrupted by smooth sections. The clip is also sterling (marked with the lion passant hallmark).
Condition Excellent condition. There is light to moderate scratching on the surface, as well as a few small shallow dings, which is common with silver. Some of the surface has a bit of tarnish (again, quite expected). The cone has scratching and some tiny dings, and the very tip has some brassing. All imprints and hallmarks are clear.
