Filling System Piston filling system. We replaced the piston seals and tested the filling system, and it's working well.
Color Black resin with gold plated cap. The cap has a lined pattern.
Nib MEDIUM 14k nib. This is a smooth and springy nib.
Condition Very nice condition. The barrel and section are dark and shiny, though the piston cap has faded a bit to dark brown. The clutch ring is split with a gap of about one milimeter, but stays in place and does its job to hold the cap on. The clutch ring also has a fair bit of brassing. The cap has some small dents, and a scrape near the top. There is also some brassing, especially on the cap lip. The clip has brassing and light plating wear on the the sides, as well as around the open end. The ink viewing window is clear. Overall the cap looks pretty good in hand. The section imprints are easy to read.
