In 1989 they switched from saying "W GERMANY" and started saying "GERMANY," and this one is not marked on the clip band but it does say "Germany" under the clip.)

Filling System Takes Montblanc screw in rollerball refills. A working refill is installed.
Color Black with gold plated trim. The Montblanc emblem is on top of the cap.
Condition Excellent + condition, in box, with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a velvety black, shiny, large-sized and hefty pen that is in a classic executive style. The cap and barrel have light signs of usage. The trim including the clip have microscratching and polishing marks. The very top edge of the cone has some light plating wear. The Montblanc "star" on top of the cap is perfect. The imprints are clear.
