Type Vintage aerometric filling fountain pen and pencil set.
Product Name Parker 21 (Mark I, identified by the feed and clip).
Manufacturer and Year Parker, made in USA -- 1951-53. The pen has a 1951 date code, and the pencil is from 1953.
Length The fountain pen is 5-3/16" long, and the pencil is 5".
Filling System Aerometric squeeze filler. We've tested it and it's working very well. The pencil takes 0.7mm leads, and uses a twist action to extend and retract the leads.
Color Black body with a brushed steel "Lustraloy" cap and chrome plated trim.
Nib Medium steel nib is smooth with nice tipping material. It has a nice round feed.
Condition Near mint and in almost perfect condition, in original "Parker 21" box. The fountain pen has very light microscratching. The cap looks fantastic, with no dents or dings, and no brassing or plating wear on the clip. The clutch ring looks perfect. The sac is clear and unstained. The pencil is also in fantastic shape, with just some light microscratching and storage wear. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings on either piece.
Both pieces are personalized with the name "Keith Hyde" on the barrel.
