Product Description
Type Button filling fountain pen, restored and working well.
Product Name Duofold/Victory Mk I - the imprint says Duofold (as does the nib), but the single thin cap band is typical of the Victory Mk I. This pen has the nib one would expect from a Mk I Victory, and this is one of the known Victory colors.
Manufacturer and Year Parker, Newhaven England -- 1941-46
Length 4-7/8"
Filling System Button filler. We have fully restored and tested the filling system, it's working very well.
Color Lined silver, pink and burgundy (sometimes called "candystripe") gold trim. Very striking. If you look closely it really does look like tiny ribbons of candy.
Nib FINE Parker Duofold Pen nib, marked "Parker Duofold 14k Pen N". It's got a bit of flex - not much, but enough to get you line variation from fine to almost-broad. See writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. No cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a short, classically designed pen in a colorful material. Microscratching and handwear, but no large individual marks. The cap looks really good. The cap band is brassed, but the clip looks great. The imprint is pretty worn, but with magnification and a good light you can read it. There is an "A" marked on the blind cap.
