Product Name Legacy 1 is the underlying design, but these Civil War commemorative CP4 models were a limited edition of 500 of the "Washington" (this pen) and 500 of the "Richmond" pen. This pen is numbered 0411/1865, though they only made 500 of them.

Filling System Touchdown filling system. We have tested it and it's working very well.
Color Sterling silver with a gold-plated clip. The surface is engraved with a circular guilloche pattern, which was created with a 1928 era machine, reactivated from a company's museum in France.
Nib MEDIUM 18k inlaid Sheaffer nib, marked M on the back of the section. Very smooth.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large, heavy, very elegant pen with impressive patterning. The patterned areas of the cap and barrel are perfect. The smooth sterling end pieces and cap band have polishing marks. The clip looks excellent. The white dot is lovely. The imprints are all clear. In a Sheaffer box, but this is not the original limited edition box. No paperwork.
