Type Vintage fountain pen
Product Name Wahl Pen w #6 nib
Manufacturer and Year Wahl, USA, 1920s

Color Black hard rubber. The barrel of the pen is smooth, and the cap faintly shows a chased dart pattern. Gold filled trim.
Nib FLEXIBLE CURSIVE ITALIC 14k #6 nib. We've got a good writing sample showing how the pen writes with and without flexing.
Condition Excellent aside from slight discoloration. The barrel has a lot of tiny pitting all over (in some lights it almost looks like an ishime "stone" urushi texture). No cracks or chips. One of the fins on the feed is broken off, but this doesn't affect the pen's writing performance. The chased pattern on the cap is worn but still visible. The clip has plating wear along the sides. Cap ring has some spots of brassing, especially on the edges. The lever has brassing along the sides and on the high points. The imprint at the top of the cap is pretty worn down, but still visible.
