Manufacturer and Year Waterman, USA -- 1920s. (Note: the cap is imprinted with "Made in Canada" but the barrel and nib have a USA imprint.)
Length 5-1/2"
Filling System Lever Filler, it has been restored with a new sac and it's working well.
Color Black chased hard rubber (BCHR) with nickel trim.
Nib The nib is marked Waterman's Ideal New York #2. It is flexible and varies from extra fine to medium. See the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a slim, sleek pen with some fading on the barrel and with visible but smoothed chasing. The barrel has a rough area near the end. The cap has small bite or tooth marks near the top. The top of the cap, above the clip, is darker than the lower portion. The lever and clip have plating wear. The imprint on the barrel is faded but readable. There is also a faded imprint reading "Waterman's Made in Canada" on the cap.
