Nib Fine flexible gold nib. The Waterman Ideal nib writes smoothly with line variation. It has excellent line variation, going from fine to double-broad with light pressure. Please see the writing sample below.
Condition Excellent condition. There is brassing on the clip, around the ball end, along the edges, and within the clip imprint area. There is a little discoloration on the barrel beneath where the cap sits. The section has a tool mark. There are a few tooth marks on the top of the cap, and also at the end of the barrel. Small scattered marks and scratches on both barrel and clip, but no cracks or chips. The clip is a little more curved than we usually see, causing us to suspect it might have been bent back in order to make better contact with the cap surface. The barrel imprint is worn but still quite legible.
