Product Name Spire. It has a very slender profile like the classic Cross Century, but with a few more elevated details.
Manufacturer and Year Cross, USA -- circa 2011-14 (Cross only made this pen for a couple of years).
Length 5-5/8" and very slim.
Filling System Takes Cross slim cartridges ONLY. We will include a full pack of Cross slim cartridges.
Color "Golden Shimmer" is a pattern of lines that, when twirled, reveal a pattern of flattened sideways triangles. There's a 1/2" gold band with two narrow black lacquer bands at the front of the barrel. There is also a narrow black band at the top of the cap. The gold barrel end piece is threaded for posting.
Nib FINE 18k nib.
Condition Excellent condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a very slim, glittery gold pen, with a patterned, textured surface and with narrow contrasting black bands on the front of the barrel and at the top of the cap. The pictures show a fair bit of tarnishing and oxidation, though in hand, the pen looks fantastic and very shiny and glittery. The lacquered bands look great. The clip is perfect. The Cross imprints are clear. The box that comes with it is for a different pen (specifically, a Spire ballpoint pen in Black Caviar), but the outer cardboard sleeve is labeled for this correct pen.
