Manufacturer and Year Cross, made in USA with US components -- early 2000s. The nib was made by Namiki in Japan. This model is discontinued.
Length 5-3/4" and oversized (fat, bullet shape)
Filling System Takes Cross cartridges and the Cross screw-in converter, type 8756. (The screw-in type fits Torero, Affinity, Sauvage, C-Series, Sentiment, Century II, Apogee, Verve and ATX models.) A new converter is installed.
Color A deep blue color that might be Selenium Blue, but it's difficult to find much information on these pens. It's a very dark teal blue color with a matte/satin finish. Shiny silver clip is framed by a translucent gray plastic. (You press the top of the clip and it extends a bit.) Black section with inlaid nib.
Nib FINE steel inlaid nib. The nib is marked F on one side.
Condition Near mint condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a large-size, impressive looking pen in a matte dark blue color and with a unique clip. The cap and barrel look fantastic, with no visible marks or interruptions in the surface. The section has some scratching from the cap lip. The clip has microscratches along the top edges. The Cross imprint is clear.
