Product Description
Type Modern fountain pen with an upgraded nib
Product Name Cumlaude
Manufacturer and Year Danitro, early 2000s. There's no clear information on where Danitro has their pens produced beyond "somewhere in Asia".
Length 5-7/8"
Filling System Standard cartridge/converter. A converter is installed.
Color Blue-grey cracked ice pattern cap and barrel in cellulose acetate. They called this simply gray, but there are definite blue tones in the material. Black section. Gold-plated trim.
Nib MEDIUM 18k Loiminchay nib. The pen came to us with a steel "iridium point Germany" type nib, and we upgraded that to an 18k two-toned Loiminchay nib. It's really bouncy and lovely to write with.
Condition Excellent + condition. Under magnification, we see light scratching on the cap and barrel; in hand the pen looks shiny and elegant. The cap band and clip look fantastic, with no microscratching or polishing marks.
