Filling System Standard internation cartridge or converter. A piston converter is installed.
Color Opaque Black enamelwork over a guilloche pattern, with vermeil trim. The cap band is also marked 925, confirming that it is vermeil (gold over sterling silver). There is a large dragon encircling the cap; the dragon has a ruby eye and a pearl in his mouth.
Nib MEDIUM 18k two-toned nib.
Condition Near Mint condition. Never inked. When we received the pen, there was quite a bit of patina on various parts of the trim. We have very carefully polished away much of this, taking great care to preserve the 24k gold plating. Some patina still remains, especially in the recesses of the dragon. There is some light storage wear. The enamel is pristine.
