Manufacturer and Year Delta, Italy -- 2000.
Length 6-1/8" capped but the cap is quite long. Without the cap, it is 5" long. When posted, it is 7-1/4" long.
Filling System Lever filler. We have restored and tested the filling system and it's working very well.
Color Black resin barrel with vermeil trim, including the barrel overlay. The pen is modeled after a saxophone and the cap is like a saxophone mouthpiece. It has Adolphe Sax's signature on the barrel.
Nib Medium 18k is labeled M.
Condition Excellent condition. There is light handwear and scratching. There are shallow (tooth?) marks near the top of the cap. The "ligature" (the vermeil piece around the cap) has some small shallow nicks along the top edge. There are similar marks on the section. The vermeil overlay on the barrel has a few tiny dots of pitting, especially around the lever bar. The end finial has light scratches. All of the imprints are clear.
