Product Description
Type Vintage lever filling fountain pen.
Product Name The clip tags says "#16" so that might be the model number.
Manufacturer and Year Diamond Point, made in USA -- circa 1930s.
Length 5".
Filling System Lever filler. We've restored it with a new sac and it's working well.
Color Pearlized green, grey, and black pinstripes with gold plated trim. Original Diamond Point tag hanging from the end of the clip. The cap band is missing.
Nib FINE FLEXIBLE 14k nib. Please see writing sample.
Condition This pen is new old stock, however the cap plastic shrunk a bit and the cap lost its cap band as a result.
Very nice condition for this smallish pen in a striking color pattern. The cap and barrel have microscratching. The trim has plating wear. The clip has the original Diamond Point price tag hanging from it. As is often the case with these striated celluloid pens, there are a few short hairline cracks radiating from the peaks of the cap and the end of the barrel. The imprint on the clip is clear.
