Manufacturer and Year Diamond Point, USA - circa 1920s. The end of the clip has an enclosed "D" at the end of the lever. and the barrel is imprinted, "Diamont Point".
Length 4-3/4" not including the ringtop hardwear.
Filling System Lever filler. We've replaced the sac and it's working well.
Color Mottled Red Hard Rubber with gold plated trim.
Nib Fine 14k Warranted Nib (marked 2). Note that when they cut the nib slit, they overshot the stopping point and went past the breather hole. There's a tiny crack off the bottom of the slit, but it is stable and will not increase unless you overflex the nib. The nib is semi-flex.
Condition Excellent + condition with no cracks, chips, dents, or dings. This is a dainty little pen in a deep, rich color. The cap and barrel have only microscratching. The end of the lever and the gold top piece of the cap have some plating wear. The imprints are clear.
