Product Name Model name unknown
Manufacturer and Year USA -- Late 1800s or early 1900s. Neither the nib nor the pen is marked.
Length 8" with nib installed.
Filling System Dip pen and holder with no ink reservoir. You dip the nib into ink and write.
Color Red swirled glass (6") with sterling silver holder and a nib with a cutout center.
Nib Fine silver nib.
Condition Excellent + condition. The handle looks great with no chips. There are some marks towards the narrower part of the handle that look like grime. There is a little brassing on the gold filled portions of the holder. It is primarily on the underside of the nib holder and as a line that runs through the top of the nib holder. The holder ships in a long cushioned case. Unlike the latched cases we see more often, this stays closed without a latch.
Excellent + condition for this old-fashioned dip pen. The glass stem is a great color with some brown variation showing through the red. The top ring of the holder does not quite come together, but this does not affect writing with the pen.
