Filling System Piston filler. Cork seal replaced here at PSP, fully tested. The piston knob has a bit of a locking mechanism.
Color Black barrel pen with a diamond cross hatch pattern. The cap is a pearlescent brown and black marbled celluloid. It has gold filled trim and swirls on the cap band.
Nib MEDIUM FLEXIBLE steel nib, marked "Edel Chromstahl 1. Qual." The tip has lots of smooth material and the tines spread easily. We do consider this full flex. Please see the writing sample below. There is a bit of railroading in the writing sample, but that's due to the fact that we dipped the nib and is not a reflection of ink flow. In the photos, there is a line on the nib that looks like a crack but it's just a reflection.
Condition Excellent + condition, with some trim wear. The cap derby looks a bit matte but the rest of the black is shiny. The celluloid looks great. There's a bit of plating wear on the clip washer and the patterning is weak on the cap band. Overall the pen looks very good. It's fully restored with a new cork seal and working well.
